Four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen is set to tackle one of endurance racing’s most demanding events as he prepares for his debut at the 24H Nürburgring this week.
The four-day event begins with qualifying sessions on 14–15 May before the 24-hour race starts on 16 May at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany.

Driving for Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing, Verstappen will share the team’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Lucas Auer, Jules Gounon and Dani Juncadella. The entry is operated in cooperation with Winward Racing.
The endurance race marks a new chapter for Verstappen, who continues to expand his experience beyond Formula 1. Earlier this year, he secured his DMSB Permit Nordschleife and claimed victory in round nine of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie driving a Ferrari 296 GT3.
Momentum has been building ahead of the race after Verstappen Racing showed strong pace during April’s qualifying weekend, becoming the first car to break the nine-minute barrier in qualifying.

Speaking ahead of the race, Verstappen said the team’s target is clear: “Success is winning. That’s why we’re here.” He also shared his excitement about driving through the night at the Nordschleife, widely regarded as one of motorsport’s most challenging circuits.
The 54th edition of the ADAC RAVENOL 24H Nürburgring starts at 3pm CEST on Saturday, 16 May, and concludes 24 hours later on Sunday, 17 May.
