Limited Bottles Of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ultra Are Now In Malaysia

Johnnie Walker has unveiled its latest innovation in luxury whisky, Blue Label Ultra, in Malaysia—introducing the world’s lightest 70cl Scotch whisky bottle at just 180 grams. This limited-edition release redefines premium whisky presentation by merging high-end craftsmanship with sustainability.
Developed over five years, the bottle’s revolutionary design marks a major departure from the brand’s iconic square silhouette. The elegant teardrop-shaped bottle, created in partnership with expert glassmakers, reflects Diageo’s Spirit of Progress initiative, aimed at reducing carbon emissions through sustainable packaging.
“At Johnnie Walker, we’re always looking forward—both in the way we make our whisky and how we present it,” said Dr. Emma Walker, Johnnie Walker Master Blender. “Blue Label Ultra combines exquisite whisky with bold, sustainable design. We’re not just crafting whisky; we’re shaping the industry’s future.”
Masterful Blend

Inside the bottle is a blend of rare ‘ghost whiskies’ from closed distilleries, including Port Ellen, Port Dundas, and Caledonian. Bottled at a higher 55% ABV, the result is an ultra-smooth, complex profile featuring notes of fresh oak, warm baked fruits, and subtle spice—a testament to the brand’s blending mastery.
With only 888 bottles produced worldwide and just 60 available in Malaysia, Blue Label Ultra is being positioned as a collector’s item, appealing to a new generation of whisky connoisseurs who value both heritage and meaningful innovation.

“Ultra represents a new chapter in luxury sustainability,” said Madhan Ramasubramanian, Diageo’s Marketing Director for Malaysia & Singapore. “It reflects the desires of modern collectors—those who appreciate rarity, innovation, and purpose.”
The exclusive release will be available via private sales and select luxury whisky boutiques in Malaysia. Collectors can secure a bottle through their Moet Hennessy Diageo Malaysia representative.
