Dyson has elevated its beauty technology once again with the launch of the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x — a revolutionary multi-styler and hair dryer that redefines what’s possible in at-home hair care.

Officially launched in Kuala Lumpur last week, this next-generation device promises better curls, faster drying, and sleeker styles, all with no heat damage.

Next Evolution

At the heart of the Airwrap Co-anda2x is Dyson’s most powerful hair care motor yet – the Hyperdymium 2. Delivering twice the air pressure of its predecessor, this re-engineered motor spins at an astonishing 150,000rpm – nine times faster than a Formula 1 engine – and is compact enough to fit comfortably in your hand.

It’s supported by an upgraded aerodynamics package, allowing for stronger airflow, improved curl wrapping, and faster, smoother styling across all hair types.

The Airwrap2x is not just powerful; it’s also smarter. Dyson has integrated advanced sensor and attachment technology to simplify styling. Each attachment comes equipped with RFID chips that communicate directly with the machine, automatically adjusting heat and airflow settings for optimal results.

Smart Tech

Through the MyDyson app, users can unlock even more personalised styling, including i.d. curl– an intelligent, four-step curling sequence tailored to your hair profile.

This intelligent system also features a MEMs pressure sensor to alert users when the filter requires cleaning, a Hall sensor to detect the presence of the filter, and dual glass bead thermistors that regulate temperature 1,000 times per second to eliminate heat damage. The result is consistently healthy-looking hair, no matter your style preference.

In Malaysia, the Straight + Wavy set is available, complete with six intelligently designed attachments packaged in a sleek Dyson presentation case. The attachments include: 30mm and 40mm Co-anda2x curling barrels, an anti-snag loop brush 2x, a round volumising brush 2x, the AirSmooth2x attachment, and the Fast Dryer 2x attachment.
