What is time? If it is difficult to define, it is easier to describe how we experience it. We are all a part of the same unique time, a time of reference. However, we can have different experiences this time. This is how Beaubleu sees its new collection, Vitruve, comprising three distinct designs.

Vitruve Date

Up first is the Vitruve Date which is inspired by everyday time, a repetitive time that sets the rhythm of the day for some, a reassuring time, a familiar landmark for others. This time binds us to the present, pushes us to accomplish our actions over the course of the day. It comes in two models, specifically with a steel or black dial.

Vitruve Origine

Moreover, the Vitruve Origine is a reference to solemn time, both light and slow. A time during which the world seems to slow down, as we find ourselves in beautiful timelessness. A true cocktail watch, the Vitruve Origine has been designed to bring a touch of poetry and dream to the wearer.

Indeed, three circular hands turn on a double dial. The first smoked dial is pad printed with Roman numerals and rests on the second guilloche dial with its velvet colour. The indexes seem to float, the ultimate touch for all dreamers. It comes in two models, either in blue or cognac.

Vitruve GMT

The Vitruve GMT is an illustration of universal time. In contrast to the day and solemn times that were intimate, this one opens a whole new perspective where two times become one, a time from here and elsewhere. It comes in two colours, namely blue and green.

Beaubleu breaks free from the codes of classical watchmaking by combining singularity and design. It brings a second wind to the watch design based on surprise and creativity. Guided by Baudelaire’s famous quote “the beautiful is always strange”,” the Marque’s name can be translated as singularity that attempts to emancipate itself from classical codes.
