Japanese Style In Bali

Showcasing the exquisite Kaiseki style, bespoke menus at each location will be crafted by renowned Executive Chef Shinichiro Takagi, offering a rare opportunity to savour the flavours of Japanese culinary mastery in the serene setting of East Baliand Ubud.

Bringing together two distinct cultures to create a memorable epicurean adventure, Amankila, located in East Bali, will host this dining experience between 4 and 5 September 2023. Amankila

The Best Of Both Worlds

Savour the fusion of traditional Japanese delicacies with a touch of Balinese. Charm as Amankila’s Restaurant is transformed into a culinary haven where Chef Takagi will intertwine the traditional Kaiseki philosophy with the region’s bountiful seafood and sea salt, paying homage to the vibrant culinary heritage of the island.

From 7 to 8 September 2023, Chef Takagi will showcase his culinary artistry in enchanting Ubud at Amandari. Providing a feast for the senses, embark on a gastronomic journey as his menu seamlessly blends the principles of Japanese cuisine with fresh seasonal vegetables from Ubud.Amankila

Aman Kyoto’s Taka-An restaurant is a testament to the authentic Japanese art of hospitality. Using strictly seasonal ingredients, each dish is created with meticulous precision in an environment that perfectly balances flavours, atmosphere, art and design under the guidance of Chef Takagi.

Born and raised in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Chef Takagi brings a unique ability to create innovative dishes that highlight the essence of the ingredients. At Amankila and Amandari, Chef Takagi will infuse the Kaiseki tradition with his creative vision, ensuring a tailor-made culinary experience straight from Japan.Amankila

Taka-An Restaurant Takeover at Amankila and Amandari starts from IDR 3,000,000++ per person. Reservations are available to both residents and non-residents for dinner on 4 to 5 September 2023 at Amankila and 7 to 8 September 2023. at Amandari.
