Nestled in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Dolomites, Aman Rosa Alpina has officially opened its doors, unveiling a reimagined take on Alpine luxury. Situated in the picturesque village of San Cassiano, the iconic mountain retreat has been thoughtfully transformed by Aman, combining nearly a century of history with the brand’s hallmark commitment to design, privacy, and tranquillity.
Previously known as Rosa Alpina and run by the Pizzinini family since 1939, the hotel has undergone a meticulous renovation under the guidance of architect Jean-Michel Gathy. The result is a serene, elegant space where floor-to-ceiling windows, natural materials and traditional craftsmanship meet Aman’s signature minimalist style. With 51 rooms, suites and signature accommodations, including the expansive Aman Suite, the hotel offers unmatched views and comfort.

Dining at Aman Rosa Alpina is a celebration of regional flavours and culinary innovation. Highlights include Il Salotto, a grand, light-filled lounge; The Grill, featuring wood-fired dishes on a scenic terrace; and Akari, an elegant Japanese hot pot experience set to open this winter. The hotel also offers a wine-tasting library, cigar lounge, and private dining options.

The 1,684-square-metre Aman Spa spans two floors, offering a comprehensive wellness experience including an outdoor infinity pool, hydrotherapy facilities, a yoga studio, and signature treatments designed for post-mountain recovery.
Beyond the spa, Aman Rosa Alpina provides year-round outdoor adventures, from skiing in the Dolomiti Superski area in winter to hiking, biking, and climbing in warmer months. For families, kids’ and teens’ areas and three private cinemas offer indoor diversions.
