In celebration of Hong Kong Arts Month, global artist Lauren Tsai has brought her immersive installation, My Dream: Our Hill, to LANDMARK in Hong Kong. Running from March 25th to April 7th, 2025, the installation transforms the LANDMARK ATRIUM into a captivating dreamscape, blending nostalgia with imagination and offering visitors of all ages a chance to rediscover the wonders of childhood creativity.

Step into a Whimsical World of Childhood Imagination

Drawing inspiration from classical fantasy tales, My Dream: Our Hill reimagines the LANDMARK ATRIUM as a miniature, whimsical civilisation. Visitors are invited to become giants in this world, towering over intricately designed homes that evoke forgotten stories. This playful yet reflective environment offers a chance to reconnect with the past while inviting moments of introspection.

At the heart of this immersive world stands a majestic apple tree, its trunk filled with elements of the town, symbolising growth, connectedness, and a suspended moment in time. Surrounding the tree are smaller homes, each serving as a storytelling portal that showcases Lauren Tsai’s paintings, drawings, and sculptures. The installation evokes the lingering essence of childhood dreams—those fleeting yet unforgettable memories that remain with us as we grow.

An Interactive Exploration of Memory and Dreams

Lauren Tsai’s work delves deep into themes of memory, identity, and the evolution of dreams. My Dream: Our Hill brings these ideas to life in an interactive, living space where her art transforms from static illustrations into a fully realized, three-dimensional environment. The installation blurs the lines between art and experience, creating a participatory ecosystem where visitors can engage with the narrative beyond the page.

“This installation is an exploration of the spaces we carry with us—memories and experiences that fade from view but never truly vanish,” says Lauren Tsai. “While My Dream: Our Hill is deeply personal, I hope it inspires visitors to reconnect with their own dreamscapes and rediscover the wonder of childhood imagination.”

A Collaboration of Art and Commerce

To further enrich the My Dream: Our Hill experience, a dedicated pop-up store at LANDMARK offers exclusive merchandise, including Lauren’s first collaboration with the iconic Japanese streetwear brand HUMAN MADE. The collection features limited-edition T-shirts that embody Lauren’s artistic vision, alongside original artworks, printed drawings, an exclusive pin design, and lifestyle items personally designed by Lauren.

Lauren will also be hosting a special public meet-and-greet at the pop-up store on March 27th at 1:30 PM, where fans can meet her, receive autographs, and connect with the artist behind the installation.

In addition, the Mandarin Cake Shop at LANDMARK ATRIUM will offer a culinary complement to the installation: the limited-edition Apple Elysium, an exquisite apple tart, available in a limited run of just 20 pieces each day.
