Fans of medical dramas will want to check out Doc on AXN Asia. The highly anticipated medical drama is set to captivate Malaysian audiences with its authentic portrayal of the medical world and deeply personal, emotionally charged stories.
Doc is inspired by the hit Italian drama Doc- Nelle tue mani and is based on real-life medical cases, offering a compelling narrative about resilience, healing, and the emotional and professional challenges faced by healthcare professionals.

Here’s What AXN Asia’s Doc Is About:

In Doc, Molly Parker stars as Dr. Amy Larsen, a brilliant and compassionate physician who serves as Chief of Internal Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis.  Amy’s life is upended when she suffers a severe brain injury, causing her to lose the last eight years of her memory.
Suddenly, she is thrust into a world that feels foreign—unable to recall the patients she once cared for, the colleagues she worked alongside, or even the man she loved. The tragedy behind her memory loss remains a blank, leaving her to rebuild her life amidst fragmented relationships and unfamiliar faces.

Who’s In It

Alongside Parker, Doc features an ensemble cast that brings emotional depth to the series. The cast includes Omar Metwally (The Affair), Amirah Vann (How to Get Away with Murder), Jon Ecker (Queen of the South), and Anya Banerjee (Star Trek: Discovery). Scott Wolf (Everwood) and Patrick Walker (The Rookie) appear in recurring roles.
Catch Doc on AXN Asia every Monday at 8:50 PM, starting 13 January 2025. The series will air for 10 episodes in its first season on AXN Asia, AXN HD available at Astro on Ch 701 and at Unifi TV on Ch 453, with repeats available on the same day at 10:45 PM.
