Denza N7

Interesting fact, On July 3, Denza officially launched the Denza N7 pure electric vehicle in China. Within 24 hours of its launch, orders for the Denza N7 reached 11,687 units. Then, 6 weeks later, the orders moved up to 24,000 units.

So, we know that BYD Malaysia will sell fully imported premium Denza electric vehicles (like the just launch D9 MPV) and Sime Darby Motors will assemble and sell BYD electric and hybrid vehicles in Malaysia.

This means you will be seeing more Denza models in Malaysia very soon.

Did you know that Denza brand was a joint venture between BYD and Mercedes-Benz, of which BYD was holding 90 percent and Mercedes-Benz was holding 10 percent?

Incidentally in August 2024, Mercedes-Benz gave up its 10 percent stake in Denza and it is now 100 percent owned by BYD.

The Denza D9 PREMIER (inaugural edition with four seats) is a remarkable co-creation that combines the imposing exterior and elegant, refined, neat interior of D9 and provides rear-row occupants with a luxurious private cockpit ideal for work, entertainment and relaxation.

Multiple BYD’s pioneering technologies are also put on display at the show, such as the e Platform 3.0, the Blade Battery, the e4 Platform, and the DiSus Intelligent Body Control System, etc.

The DiSus System, launched earlier this month, is the industry’s first intelligent Body Control System developed exclusively for NEVs, featuring a lineup of DiSus-C, DiSus-A, and DiSus-P. It provides a systemic solution to vertical motion control of vehicles for increased safety. The DiSus system will be available in products from Dynasty and Ocean series, Denza and Yangwang, redefining luxury cars in the new energy era.

Denza N7 offers two power versions: a single-motor and dual-motor four-wheel drive. Both versions are equipped with a 91.392 kWh power battery. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 230 kW and offers a CLTC cruising range of 702 km.

Meanwhile, in contrast, the dual-motor four-wheel drive version boasts a maximum power of 390 kW, can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, and provides a CLTC cruising range of 630 km.
