The Vietage connects Nha Trang and Quy Nhon
The Vietage by Anantara has announced the launch of its second railway carriage, beginning daily round trips between Nha Trang and Quy Nhon on 15 May 2024.
Round 2
Following the success of its existing Da Nang to Quy Nhon route, this new addition promises a luxurious travel experience through South-Central Vietnam. Connecting the coastal gem of Nha Trang, served by Cam Ranh International Airport, the journey celebrates slow, sustainable travel with a five-hour scenic route through the Vietnamese countryside.
The Vietage’s 12 reservation-only seats, set in private two-person booths, blend sleek, modern design with Indochinese inspiration. Panoramic windows provide stunning countryside views, while a chic sit-up bar offers rail-inspired cocktails and mocktails crafted by on-board mixologists.
Relax And Unwind
Guests can unwind with 15-minute head and shoulder treatments in the dedicated spa area. A curated afternoon tea experience features culinary delights like poached Bai Dai Lobster and Da Lat Caviar, a tea tower of homemade finger sandwiches, pastries, cakes, traditional scones, and an artisanal cheese and charcuterie platter.
A dedicated vegan menu also ensures plant-based diners are equally indulged. Refreshments include premium Vietnamese teas from Epicurean Sao, ethically-sourced La Folliet coffee, and a selection of wines, beers, cocktails, mocktails, and soft drinks. The à la carte menu offers premium wines and champagnes for pre-order, with extra caviar portions available on board.
A Sight To Behold
On top of that, the scenic journey includes glimpses of water buffalo, lotus ponds, rice paddies, and the breathtaking coastline of the East Sea. The route also travels through the mountainous province of Phú Yên, home to the Champa people and various historical sites.
A one-way ticket on The Vietage from Nha Trang to Quy Nhon costs USD420 (roughly RM1,970) per person, including a luxury afternoon tea, a 15-minute head and shoulder treatment, free-flowing beverages, and a selection of local teas and coffees.
