The new restaurant will serve contemporary European cuisine
The Hyatt and Sergio Herman Group reveal the Le Pristine, a new restaurant concept in Grand Hyatt Singapore. The restaurant will open in the third quarter of 2023 and will mark the debut of the acclaimed Michelin starred chef-entrepreneur, Sergio Herman in Asia.
The Le Pristine Singapore will build on the success of the original casual fine dining establishment in Antwerp which received a Michelin star in its first year of operations. This is a stellar achievement as not many Michelin star restaurants can boast an achievement such as this.
Moreover, the Antwerp based restaurant is world famous for its contemporary European cuisine. It prides itself on dishes made with fresh produce from New Zealand and the Netherlands, the latter of which is where chef-entrepreneur Sergio Herman was born and known for its exceptional quality of seafood.
Andreas Stalder, Senior VP, food & beverage operations and product development, Asia Pacific, Hyatt, said, “This is a fresh vision for the role food and beverage plays in Hyatt’s approach to luxury hospitality and is slated to be the culinary crown jewel of Grand Hyatt Singapore. We are excited to collaborate with Sergio Herman to introduce Le Pristine Singapore’s refined and creative culinary offerings.”
Diners at Le pristine are immersed in a sophisticated celebration of life and creativity expressed in the five core pillars of the restaurant which are are food, fashion, design, art and music.
This immersive experience brings together the exceptional eye for detail of chef Sergio Herman and the staff’s commitment to ensuring only the highest quality in gastronomy and hospitality. The whole experience is completed with the Dutch design of the restaurant which is rarely seen outside of Europe.
Chef Sergio Herman stated, “A restaurant is not just about food. It’s a blank canvas where we can truly celebrate being creative. Ideas can radiate out from every corner of the restaurant, from the aesthetics of our food to the design of the furnishings and even the choice of music, which is the driving force in setting the mood and ambience.”
He concluded with “It’s our debut in Asia and starting strong is so important. We’re going to put some of our brightest minds from Hyatt and Sergio Herman Group together to make some magic.”
