Lamborghini Revuelto: The First Lamborghini Super Sports V12 Hybrid HPEV
The Lamborghini Revuelto is the brand’s replacement for the iconic Aventador
With electrification causing the extinction of petrol cars, hybrids and electric vehicles have begun to replace some iconic cars. The same goes for the Aventador, so in the marque’s 60th anniversary year, Automobili Lamborghini presents Revuelto, the first super sports V12 plug-in hybrid HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle).
The New Standard For Lamborghini cars
The Lamborghini Revuelto is the new paradigm for super sports cars combining the raw power of the roaring V12 with the electric performance of three electric motors. Paired to an eight-speed double-clutch gearbox and a 4,500 W/kg lithium ion battery, it creates the ultimate HPEV delivering 1015 CV.
Revolutionary Inside And Out
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO, said, “The new Revuelto is a milestone in the history of Lamborghini, and an important pillar in our Direzione Cor Tauri electrification strategy. It is a unique and innovative car but at the same time faithful to our DNA: the V12 is an iconic symbol of our super sports heritage and history.”
With 13 drive modes, and all-wheel drive also available in fully-electric mode it is slated to offer the absolute best driving experience. Moreover, the new Lamborghini Revuelto combines these attributes to deliver performance figures at the peak of its segment to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in only 2.5 seconds onto a top speed of over 350km/h.
A New Style
Aerodynamics and design express the maximum synergy between efficiency, functionality and style. The Revuelto brings the future of Lamborghini design to the road today. It stays constant to the exclusive Lamborghini design DNA but establishes an entirely new stylistic language.
New Technology, A New Lamborghini
On top of that, the new Revuelto features a fully immersive experience for driver and passenger with the new Lamborghini Infotainment System. It comes equipped with a completely new Human Machine Interface (HMI) system consisting of three displays: a 12.3′ instrument cluster, 8.4′ central display, and in addition a 9.1′ display.
Safety Is A Priority
The Lamborghini Revuelto sees the brand implementing a complete ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) for the first time, which includes advanced functions to improve safety and daily driving thanks to a sophisticated system of cameras, radar and sensors. This makes the car safe and wicked fast at the same time.
