Catch Colin Farell as The Penguin exclusively on HBO Go this September

Mark your calendars for the much-anticipated premiere of HBO’s limited series The Penguin on Friday, 20 September. Tune in to HBO on Astro Channel 411 or Unifi TV Channel 401, or catch it on HBO GO. Following the debut, new episodes will drop every Monday, starting September 30, leading up to the series finale in an eight-episode run.

After The Batman

The Penguin, a continuation of the gripping crime saga introduced in the global hit The Batman, stars Colin Farrell reprising his role as Oz Cobb, also known as The Penguin. This new series delves deeper into the gritty world of Gotham, exploring the character’s darker and more complex layers.

Moreover, the series, created by Lauren LeFranc, builds on the universe crafted by Matt Reeves and offers a fresh perspective on the infamous villain. Fans of The Batman will recognize the deep, immersive storytelling style that has become a hallmark of the franchise.

The Stars

Joining Colin Farrell in the cast are notable actors including Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, Rhenzy Feliz as Victor Aguilar, and Michael Kelly as Johnny Viti. The ensemble also features Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Michael Zegen, Carmen Ejogo, and Theo Rossi, each bringing their own unique flair to the dark, compelling narrative.

On top of that, behind the scenes, the series is produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, and Colin Farrell, with Lauren LeFranc serving as the showrunner and writer. Craig Zobel directs the first three episodes, alongside executive producer Bill Carraro. The show is a joint production of Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions, Dylan Clark Productions, and Warner Bros Television, in collaboration with DC Studios.
