Harman Kardon Is Making Our Audio Experience More Sustainable

Harman Kardon and JBL are making Sustainability sound awesome!
Live from Amsterdam, Harman International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd has unveiled their newest innovation in sustainability. At the Harman ExPLORE press event held on 31 August 2022, the Harman group announced its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040.
With that goal in mind, they have accelerated and expanded their initiatives to counter climate change and social inequality. Personally, I’m glad they are doing so as I can enjoy my high quality music without worrying about the environment now.
This initiative hits even harder when you consider that a recent survey conducted by Harman revealed that 42 percent of Americans believe that music can inspire involvement in social change while 60 percent believe it can save the planet. I can’t speak for everyone but listening to good music always makes me want to do good.
Moreover, the Harman Lifestyle Division and JBL have been hard at work over the past several years ensuring that their environmental goals become a reality. From every small aspect from power consumption, packaging, life cycle and supply chain, each of these gorgeous and eco friendly products that launched are up to snuff.
These new audio products include the JBL Go 3 Eco, JBL Clip 4 Eco, Harman Kardon Onyx and Harman Kardon Flip Essential 2 and as a JBL Go 2 speaker owner myself, I am seriously considering an upgrade to the JBL Go 3 Eco.
All these Harman Kardon and JBL products are made from post-consumer recycled plastics and will hit the market om 2023 with fully sustainable packaging. Couple this with Harman’s recently launched “Infinity Lab,” an eco-friendly power accessories brand made with 90 percent recycled plastics and you have the best audio brands in my books.
What else can anyone possibly want out of Harman Kardon and JBL? They have already established that they know how to make quality sound systems now they are environmentally friendly too. I only wish these products would launch sooner so I can enjoy my favourite tunes in eco friendly fashion right now.
