As the Year of the Snake draws near, Franck Muller unveils a stunning timepiece that blends elegance with innovation, the Silhouette CX Snake. This limited-edition masterpiece celebrates the enigmatic charm of the snake, combining both artistry and technical mastery.
A New Era
With its revolutionary Silhouette CX Snake, this watch marks a new chapter in Franck Muller’s rich history of watchmaking. Crafted from luxurious 18k rose gold, the Silhouette CX Snake evokes the fluidity and grace of the snake. Its asymmetrical design, featuring smooth curves and undulating lines, captures the essence of this zodiac creature while leaving its head and tail only subtly hinted at.
Inspired by the snake’s symbolism of transformation, the design of the case reflects the sinuous motion of the serpent, creating a tactile and visual experience that is both dynamic and captivating.
Exclusive
This exclusive timepiece is limited to just 28 pieces in the Asia Pacific region, and it continues the legacy of Franck Muller’s bold zodiac creations. Following the success of previous editions, such as the #FR2NCKMULLER Vanguard for the Year of the Rabbit, the Silhouette CX Snake pushes the boundaries of what a zodiac watch can be.
With its new case shape and intricate design, this watch is a true work of art. Creating the watch was no easy feat, as traditional methods couldn’t be applied due to its unconventional shape. Every component had to be crafted with precision, using advanced 3D techniques. 
Stunning DesignThe sapphire glass, shaped with diamond grinding and CNC technology, curves in two directions, offering a clear view of the stunning dial. The dial itself features a delicate snake motif, handset with deep green emeralds using the intricate snow-setting technique, adding an element of sparkle and mystery.
At its core, the Silhouette CX Snake houses an in-house movement, carefully housed in a custom casing ring to fit the unique shape of the watch and is priced at SGD66,000 (about RM217,503). The serpentine green calf leather strap, embossed with a snakeskin texture and complemented by a rubber underside for comfort, completes the design.
