The Da Vinci Code by Behrens is inspired by art and mystery

Behrens proudly unveils “The Da Vinci Code.” This masterpiece of time is based on a secret code hidden in an art painting for over 2000 years. Such a topic has been written as a novel as well as made into a movie over the years.

Fact Or Fiction?

“The Da Vinci Code” is, of course, fiction but readers were told that all descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals in this novel are accurate, causing millions of readers to wonder how much they really know about it.

To that extent, the Behrens automatic wristwatch has been designed based on “The Da Vinci Code” as a theme, from which the key element of this mechanical wristwatch is to imply the secret code into the design of the mechanism.

Da Vinci Is Swiss?

“The Da Vinci Code” is constructed based on a Swiss cal.2824-2 automatic movement as the power source derived from a mechanical module completely developed in-house to provide a satellite time display function.

Also, unlike ordinary satellite systems, this time most of the numbers for the hours’ indications are hidden, just like how “The Da Vinci Code” has been hidden. To do so, special luminous plates were installed underneath certain locations so that only 3 numbers of the hours’ indications could be seen.

New Additions

Functionally, Behrens have also added a “Date” display function at the 2:30 position of the dial. Besides that, the dial design has also added elements of “The Da Vinci Code” with a secret pattern yet to be explored and discovered. The timepiece features the in-house designed and patented metal bracelet.

What makes this bracelet special is that the team’s engineering team has developed a push-button system for adjusting the length of the bracelet. This allows the bracelet’s length can be adjusted without the need for any tools.

Furthermore, to match the theme of “The Da Vinci Code,” Behrens have also designed a special storage box set that can only be opened with a secret code. Behrens is available exclusively at  Red Army Watches located at Pavilion KL and 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
