The BAPE Gallery is once again returning to bring together fashion and art in a global tour spanning four major cities. This time, the festivities kicks off in Beijing from Thursday 12 January 2023 to Friday 30 June 2023. The gallery will feature special edition toys, clothing, sneakers, skateboards and furniture.BAPE

Established in 2002, the BAPE Gallery, by Japanese label “A BATHING APE”, is an inclusive art platform that advocates for diversity in creativity. It is designed to bridge the realms of fashion with art, culture, music, and more to present contemporary innovations from Japan to the world. So if you love all things creative, you don’t want to miss out.

Moreover, the BAPE Gallery is opening its first outpost outside of Japan, in celebration of its 20th Anniversary. This outpost is to open in Beijing Parkview Green, and will be presenting newly commissioned works by 12 emerging and established artists. The exhibition will later tour to New York, London, and Tokyo.

On top of that, over the last two decades, the BAPE Gallery has exhibited with internationally acclaimed artists, designers, and creatives to create a culturally and artistically diverse contemporary space. Some of the names the gallery collaborated with are Hajime Sorayama, KAWS, FUTURA, Tetsu Nishiyama and many more. BAPE

Additionally, to celebrate 30 years of the BAPE Gallery in tandem with its 20th Anniversary, the 12 up and coming as well as established artists from all across the globe will unveil 16 never-before-seen artworks that highlight the monumental influence of the brand as a cultural mainstay.

Furthermore, the BAPE Gallery Beijing will span 5,200 sq. ft. across two stories and will be divided into several zones. Each of these spaces will feature physical and digital artworks, special edition art toys, homeware and furniture, classic and new season clothing, sneakers, and more. This will bring into focus the past, present and future of BAPE.

On the first floor, enjoy the BAPE ART SPACE which presents artworks from Adam Lister, Alvaro Ilizarbe, Arkiv Vilmansa, Eric Inkala, Jasper Wong, Lilkool, Oso de Agua, Sam Taylor, SHARK SEIJIN, Simone Legno, Steven Harrington and Tomotatsu Gima, showcasing an explosion of fashion, art, street culture, and more.BAPE
