Fancy a luxurious spin on sportswear? 

Balenciaga and Adidas come together in an unlikely collaboration to combine the best elements of sportswear and fashion to result in a unique culmination of both brands’ creative language. This collection was first seen on the runway at the Balenciaga Spring 23 Collection presentation on the New York Stock Exchange’s trading floor.

This collection also features a dedicated campaign that takes place in a Manhattan high rise and showcases actresses Isabelle Huppert and Han So Hee, boxer Jermell Charlo,singer BCW and models Bella Hadid and Khadim Sock wearing these stunning Balenciaga and Adidas pieces in an isolated office space.

In the surrounding area, we can see a bunch of objects which are seemingly just modern day workplace clutter such as piles of paper, jars of writing utensils, landline phones, and desktop computers. This may seem random, but we think they are indicative of the contemporary element of this Balenciaga collection.

Photographer Chris Maggio also took mesmerizing still life photos of the shoes, bags and jewelry in this collection set against the same backdrop as the celebrities. These photos allow you to truly appreciate the fine craftsmanship of this collaboration and detail that went into making these amazing accessories.

Additionally, this Balenciaga collection also takes an Adidas tracksuit and completely reconceptualizes it into business attire. Also the pantashoes, athletic equipment and iconic sneakers from both brands have been reimagined as hybrid products sporting the best of both brands’ creativity and signature appeal. T-shirts, baggy jeans, the Hourglass Bag, and signature Balenciaga jewelry also enjoy this treatment.

This exclusive collection launches in selected Balenciaga and Adidas stores and of course online. The brands will also hold a series of exclusive pop-ups in Bangkok, Dubai, Los Angeles, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Toronto from 3 November 2022 onwards.
